John Reynolds is a Consultant General Surgeon at Beacon Hospital Dublin, specialising in diseases of the oesophagus and stomach and is recognised as a leading expert with over 30 years of clinical and academic experience.
He was Professor of Clinical Surgery at St. James’s Hospital and a Principal Investigator in the Trinity Translational Medicine Institute for 24 years and the National Lead in Oesophageal and Stomach Cancer since 2010.
Professor Reynolds joined the Board of OCF in September 2025.
