I first became aware of The Oesophageal Cancer Fund and the work they did in 2021 and became actively involved in the organisation in 2022. Having lost my Dad to Oesophageal cancer rather quickly in 2020, I wanted to get involved in some way to try and help other people avoid the terrible experience my Dad had to go through.
I have a shared vision with the rest of my colleagues in the OCF of both raising
awareness about this disease and of our work having a meaningful impact in the
eradication of Oesophageal cancer.
Professionally I have worked in several large financial institutions in a variety of roles for
the last 13 + years. I am a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
and a member of the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland.
