The aim is for people affected by Oesophageal Cancer to meet others who are in a similar situation and gain support from one another. As always, the agenda is patient centred and based on feedback to date from our community meetings, and we would love to hear more of your suggestions for future meetings.

As well as addressing hot topics like diet, exercise, sleep and wellbeing and sharing practical tips with each other, we will be using this first meeting of the New Year, as a launch pad for our Lollipop Day Campaign which is all about raising awareness of the symptoms of oesophageal cancer in an effort to increase early detection and survival rates.  We are delighted to report that Padraig Harrington is our Patron again for Lollipop Day, and you will be hearing his voice on a radio ad we are currently planning, and lots more!

As usual, this will be an open forum to give everyone an opportunity to ask and answer questions, along with a light lunch with more time to chat and chew and learn more from each other.
